OpsBridge
Workflow automation for 1,100+ McDonald's drive-through deployments. Cut daily ops overhead by 95%.
Illustration: plan rows feed OpsBridge, updates go out, and 1,100 stores light up as installs land. Not real rollout data.
The problem
In summer 2026 I was a Junior Project Manager at Icon Media Communications, on the national refresh of the networked media players in 1,100+ McDonald's drive-thrus across Canada. My focus was the data and networking side of the rollout.
With 10+ installs running at once across several provinces, keeping install crews, technicians and timelines in sync meant a lot of manual data entry and formatting every day.
What I built
OpsBridge is a browser-based workflow tool, built with React and plain JavaScript, that I made to run the deployments across 1,100+ locations. It replaced the manual data entry and formatting in the daily workflow.
- A reference lookup for every store, covering cable instructions and lane configurations, that works instantly in the browser.
- Streamlined communication with field technicians across multiple sites at once.
How it works
Results / status
Cut daily ops overhead by 95% and supported the rollout across 1,100+ locations through the end of my internship in August 2026.
